Outlook calendar not updating sharepoint

The Share Point Connect to Outlook feature is a stellar example of the tight integration between Share Point and other Microsoft products.

While Share Point 2013 offers even more integration than before, Connect to Outlook has been part of Share Point since the beginning. By connecting Calendars and other Share Point features to Outlook, you can browse and even edit and create items from within Outlook.

Therefore, it seems like a no-brainer that each of these Lists in Share Point can be connected to their corresponding area of Outlook. You see not only the Calendars, Task Lists, and Contacts Lists, but any other Share Point List or Library. The title of each connection will start with the name of the site or subsite where the List is located, followed by the name of the particular List or Library. What is often overlooked, however, is the ability to use this feature for other Lists and even Libraries. The Folder view in Outlook is where you go to see all of the Share Point Lists (and Libraries) you are connected to.
