I still have that list, and today I’m sharing it with you.
When you date in high school, you learn how to date.
Similarly, when you’re getting to know a guy in a dating relationship, you become vulnerable to him by sharing your thoughts and beliefs and feelings with him.
This vulnerability is important for is okay to share.
If the guy in question was the right guy for me, then it wouldn’t matter whether or not we dated in high school. No need to stress about if he’s “the one” or not when in high school.
Okay, first I feel like I need to say that I know some people get married right after they graduate high school, and that is a different story.
I had friends and family around me who I could hang out with.
Additionally, I believed Jesus was right by my side every inch of the way, so I had no cause to turn to a boyfriend to stop my loneliness.
Relationships aren’t love but pure evil created for the sole purpose of ostracizing people that don’t seem fit.For me personally, though, I knew I didn’t want to get married until I had graduated college. So dating in high school meant it would be a really long time before he and I could get married. They had been friends before they started dating, so when they did start dating they quickly grew a deep emotional connection because they didn’t take it slow.I learned that one could get too deep emotionally and not just physically.
